Lash additional layers or equipment to the bungee cords crisscrossing the front of the pack to keep them easily accessible. We are named for the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain. We have helped explorers reach the most unfathomable heights of the Himalayas. But The North Face legend begins, ironically, on a beach. More precisely, San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, at an altitude of only 150 feet above sea level. It was here in 1966 that two hiking enthusiasts resolved to follow their passions and founded a small mountaineering retail store. From the beginning, the brand committed to serving all those who desired to explore and to serving our natural wild lands by helping to conserve them. At our core, we believe exploration creates an indelible bond with the outdoors, inspiring people to protect our land and pass these beliefs down to the next generation.

What are fans saying?
Perfect for what I was looking for in a small backpack.
The size is great not too big but not too small and the quality is actually well put together (but its north face and they usually fit the description of you get what you pay for)some of the travel sites i was researching recommended the jester for its size and travel convenience since some airlines can be a little bit too pickyThe straps are comfy but I probably wouldnt be using this like a daypack.
I'm a college student and found that it has plenty space for all of my supplies and it fits my 13.5" laptop perfectly.
Great backpack for my 10-year-old .
I wear it all the time to hold the stuff I need for work on my commute and when I run errands, as I live in a city and do not have a car.
What are haters saying?
Ok backpack, pretty small, the reason I gave it only 2 stars is due to it not standing up on its own at all.
It came a bit below my waist and I could tell that a day of traveling or hiking and it would rub the wrong way and end up being uncomfortable.
I was expecting to be receiving something that I could use in the long run but I was disappointing in the material and how it was so easy to rip.
So what was all organized is now spilled in the bottom , so you really just end up piling everything in the bottom of the small part.
The description states that "nobody will call you a fool when you are wearing the North Face Jester."
