I did have to water twice a day for the first week.
I did get more rain than usual in late summer in southern PA, but am very pleased with the outcome.I did fill in a couple other lighter areas in my yard as well, and they filled in very nicely.
I'm going to have to go in there with more of this product in a few days to try to fill in the bare spots because at least that area has filled in enough so that this product can do what it is good at.
Therefore, I have to give it at least a couple of weeks for the established bermudagrass to get back to normal before I start to heavily douse it again. My recommendation is that if you have more than, say, a 2-3 square foot area to fill in, you're going to want to get some actual seed and go through the process of thatching, planting, and dressing to get it to grow properly.
If you are using it to seed large areas, get enough of the product to cover it thoroughly.Heavy rain WILL wash it away, as it would any product.
Not all seeds grew.
Doesn't grow very well in sun or shade.
New grass came up in at most 5% of the area I seeded.
This after adding Scotts 'grow new grass' top soil to the areas I seeded.Don't waste your money on this, buy generic, save money and take your chances.
Followed the instructions and keep the grass wet as required!Waste of money and now it is too late to start over with another grass seed product!
