LifeStraw has been used around the world under extreme conditions for humanitarian relief, providing clean drinking water in developing communities. The LifeStraw Personal water filtration straw measures 9 x 1 x 1 inches and weighs 0.1 pounds; includes sealed bag for storage in backpack or survival kit. What are fans saying?
Have not used as of yet, but it is in the bug out bag!
Have not had an opportunity to use it yet, BUT I bought it on a recommendation from my son, so am sure when I use it I will not be disappointed.
I bought this product for hiking and backpacking and it works great!!
I haven’t had to use it yet but it’s nice to know and have this product ready to use and time I need it and I thought the price is good !
I haven't had the need to use this yet, but it's nice to know I do have it just in case.
What are haters saying?
Need to suck hard on it to get the water! Not something you can count on it... Next to impossible to draw through.
)My son tried to use his Life Straw and could hardly get any water from it.
Or do they mean you need to carry clean water to prime it with?).
However, even if it had worked, he still had the problem of having to go to the water instead of being able to use it to fill his water bottle, and it wouldn't have worked for cooking (fortunately, he got water from me, using the competing product).
IF this water is purified, and removing bacteria and other things, it should only be allowing just H2O to pass through...Purified...This is what I am in search of...and amazingly enough THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT DO IT!
