My only complaint is that it could use more USB ports; we almost always need to include a hub with these.
Bought a "Used: Like new comes in original packaging" version of this product.Fiddled with it and tested components for about 2 hours, talked to the amazon "Expert" help desk, which was an interesting experience, mostly to test the waters and it was what I expected, people on computers (very nice to me) but reading from a knowledge base, they offered to contact the manufacture for more help.
It would however light up blue and the fan would turn on.I repackaged the item and returned it for a full refund since it was DOA, not my first 1900 board I've seen that has had similar issues. To answer some questions:Yes it is the same size and form factor as the Intel nuc'sYes it is very tiny.No it does not come with very good documentation, most of the stuff in the manual is stuff that you would most likely know from experience.Only offers the most basic in troubleshooting steps. You'll probably want to look up the ram compatibility list, there are some bargains in the 4GB range at sub $30 for PC3L.Not a fan of the power brick design with international adapters.
This is a great little setup for someone that doesn't need a fancy rig.
I have 2 of these and use them on my 720P TVs for web surfing, Youtube, and HPTC.
Gigabyte Intel Celeron J1900.
Really poor build quality and insanely loud for a mini-pc.
2 months after the 3yr warranty expires, this things video goes out, no way to fix without turning it into gigabyte.
You got my business 1x, u messed up!
