Seriously you are just as likely, if not more, to have issues with a new one than with a refurbished.
Only had about a week, but so far works very well, and is what I expected.
Very easy to set up and so far I love it with the price of only around $200.
It is fine for the price and as a back up computer for my job.
I got my Dell Optiplex 980, it came with windows 10, INTEL core i5-650, 500GB hard drive, 4GB of ram, and a "old graphics card" said the IT person at school.PROS1 I love the style of the computer and how it look like it has a grill on the from2 i like that it is a windows 103 the sound on it is really goodCONS1 the first problem i discovered was that the fan inside my power core does not move an inch2 the disc drive wont open when the computer is standing up3 my computer wont launch Farming simulator 194 the computer does not want to work with my AMD graphics card5 before i had a problem the computer wont boot up (it was cause the wifi driver plunged in the back)Then it all went down hill from there6 the old printer plugin does not have the screws in it and on the inside part of the plastic plugin is broke7 it was at a point were DIMM1 and 3 will only work and you put ram in 2 and 4 when you start the computer it will beep at you and dont bootAnd 8 today is 1/17/19 and the damn computer wont boot it just beeps at you when you try to start itthe beep is> 1 long, 1 long, 2 short, 2 short or 3 short some times<.
I had to hunt around to find a monitor it would work with and then it still wouldn't work because it needed a new video card.
Thankfully I did purchase the warranty but since it was after work that I was able to set up the computer for the first time, customer support was closed.
You HAVE to buy an adapter after you get the PC in order to connect to WIFI.
Are you kidding me I mean there's like not even an extra monitor input just one and a few other unrecognizable inputs that I'm sure maybe 1 person in a 100 actually has in their house so I guess I have to go by a different type input so I can put it on both monitors I don't understand how this is Amazon's top choice for a refurbished computer I mean how is this even decided I realize that it's 1 of the cheaper versions but still I mean I'll pay a couple more bucks to have an H DMI and put I mean is that really too much to ask?
I purchased a computer from them for $150 , and I was so busy to set it up and when I did , it was junk it has all the errors you could think offbut I was not able to return it since I did pass the time limit , 3 month after I purched the computer .
