Great value, awesome product and fast shipping!
I work from home and needed a docking station compatible with my employer provided Dell laptop, this docking station fits the bill.
I am using this with a Dell Precision 7520 laptop, and it worked right out the box.
But It is now hooked up to a couple monitors and keyboard and mouse and I can plunk in the laptop and voila!
I love these docking stations -- I'm using them with a Lattitude E6400 and an E6420.They convert laptops into wonderful desktops -- with all the ports you could need (except HDMI), whilst still having a laptop that you can readily pop off to move around with.Compared to today's laptops, these Lattitudes are no longer lightweight and power sippers -- but they have plenty of value especially when combined with these really well designed docking stations.
What are haters saying?
There are two models of this thing, one with a 130-watt power supply and other with 200.
But, what I found is that if you plug two monitors into this thing, it doesn't have enough power to run anything else.
So, even though I have this very same port replicator, I have to plug some of my devices into the replicator and some of them into my laptop, because it simply does not have enough of power to support all the ports and all the functions in the Port Replicator.
Drives the monitors, charges the laptop, connects the Ethernet.. Not the T0J21 model as indicated in the description.
Unsure at this time of compatibility as several of the Dell model numbers are same hardware.
