She states, 'today, real luxury, to me, is ease, discipline, and personality: surrounding yourself with the people and the things you love, in the place you want to be, and nothing more.'
I love this book!
I enjoy this book !
I definitely have a classic style and I sometimes feel like it's a little boring, but after reading your book - I am embracing it!!
Easy read but great content!A must-read for "shopaholics".Definitely a reminder of less is more and quality over quantity. Will be something that I will be going back to every so often to remind myself what is really important.
What are haters saying?
The book was entirely about the author and her experiences.
If you want to read yet another autobiography about someone who wore all the trendy (disguised as "true classics") brands and whose mother wore a "simple gold bangle" every day with "jeans and dresses," go ahead and waste your money on this book.
She has a pair of black pumps that she loves!
I thought this book was about Classic Style, but it is about the author's style, which seems to be wealthy preppy style.
I was looking for a textbook and this is not that.
