It is worth the purchase just to get the 3.5 mm cables that come with it.
I have to disconnect all the other sources to hear the one I want, otherwise no sound.
It is compact and durable and I intend on using it to connect multiple headphones to my studio mic's no latency port so I can have myself and a guest listen to our recording as it is being made in real-time.
I like to use headphones for gaming but would rather use my nice speaker set up for everything else I run on my pc so works just like I need it to .
Worked as I intended it would.
This item mostly worked as advertised, but it had an odd quirk.
I used this in a strange temporary setup with 4 devices: a PC, a monitor, a Roku 3, and my PC speakers.
I could have 2 inputs (one from the PC and the other from the monitor/Roku) getting output to the speakers. The Roku was always on, but the PC was not.
But using it that way degraded the audio signal beyond listenability, contaminating it with loud staticky noise as soon as more than one music source had been connected, even when just one of the sources was playing audio. If you're wanting to connect two or more music sources to a single speaker system, you'll need to use more sophisticated audio hardware than this.
