Here are 8 things to know before you buy a luggage: SoftSide, Backpack, The Suitcase, Mouse, Piano, Wallet, Radio-frequency identification, and Anti-theft system. Make sure you read our 2020 official guide on how to purchase a luggage if you don't know anything about luggage!

It could feel overwhelming to look at all the products if you haven't purchased luggage yourself, or haven't had it at all. This is why we gathered some information for you so you can be more confident before buying a luggage.

Things You Should Know

If you have some exposure to luggage or related types of products, you might already know what some of the words mean. But we don't want to assume that you know and make you struggle while reading product descriptions. Here are the 8 words you need to know:

  • SoftSide: SoftSide is a defunct computer magazine, begun in October 1978 by Roger Robitaille and published by SoftSide Publications of Milford, New Hampshire.
  • Backpack: A backpack—also called knapsack, rucksack, rucksac, pack, sackpack, booksack, bookbag or backsack—is, in its simplest frameless form, a cloth sack carried on one's back and secured with two straps that go over the shoulders, but it can have an external frame, internal frame, and there are bodypacks.
  • The Suitcase (Suitcase): "The Suitcase" is the seventh episode of the fourth season of the American television drama series Mad Men, and the 46th overall episode of the series. It aired on the AMC channel in the United States on September 5, 2010.
  • Mouse: A mouse, plural mice, is a small rodent characteristically having a pointed snout, small rounded ears, a body-length scaly tail, and a high breeding rate. The best known mouse species is the common house mouse .
  • Piano (Upright): The piano is an acoustic, stringed musical instrument invented in Italy by Bartolomeo Cristofori around the year 1700, in which the strings are struck by wooden hammers that are coated with a softer material . It is played using a keyboard, which is a row of keys that the performer presses down or strikes with the fingers and thumbs of both hands to cause the hammers to strike the strings.
  • Wallet: A wallet is a small, flat case that can be used to carry such small personal items as paper currency, credit cards, and identification documents, photographs, transit pass, business cards and other paper or laminated cards. Wallets are generally made of leather or fabrics, and they are usually pocket-sized and often, but not always foldable.
  • Radio-frequency identification (RFID): Radio-frequency identification uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. An RFID tag consists of a tiny radio transponder; a radio receiver and transmitter.
  • Anti-theft system (Anti-Theft): Anti-theft systems protect valuables such as vehicles and personal property like wallets, phones, and jewelry. They are also used in retail settings to protect merchandise in the form of security tags and labels.

Appropriate Price Range

Luggage are normally priced in the range of$9999999999.99 - $-9999999999.99 per item. So if a luggage's price is outside of this range, you should question if the product is actually sold, or the price is worth it.
